OER Deposit Tool

In preparation for open access, the Jorum team are using an OER Deposit Tool - http://deposit.jorum.ac.uk to facilitate the deposit of teaching and learning materials, using Creative Commons licences until the JorumOpen licencing regime is available. Once launched, all materials received via the OER Deposit Tool will automatically be transferred to the JorumOpen licencing regime.

The OER Deposit Tool uses MrCute functionality to assist contributors whilst uploading content via the Jorum website. Simply upload your materials, submit metadata and select a suitable licence, allowing resources to be ‘ready’ for open access.

Deposit into Jorum can only be made by members of UK Further and Higher Education Institutions via authentication using the UK Access Management Federation, but anyone will be able to search, browse and download the materials deposited under the JorumOpen licencing regime.

Register to use the OER Deposit Tool

Go to deposit.jorum.ac.uk to access the deposit tool homepage, then click the login button which will take you to the UK Access Management Federation gateway.
