Q1. Where can I find support on how to use and register for the OER Deposit Tool?
A. There is a dedicated OER Deposit Tool section on the Jorum website, which provides depositor walkthroughs with screenshots to simplify the process of registration and submission of resources. These processes are also illustrated though video screencasts with narration, available to watch online or download.

Q3. How do I know if I have deposited some material successfully?
A. When the submission process is complete the depositor will receive an email confirmation listing metadata submitted through the OER Deposit Tool form and a link to its present location. These resources will eventually be migrated to JorumOpen when it becomes available.

Q4. Will I get a record of what I have deposited?
A. On the frontpage of the OER Deposit Tool there is a search facility where you can search all deposits you have made using the tool. It is also possible to edit existing metadata and preview your resource as a content package. Please note that at this stage, you will only be able to search for deposits you have made, not those of others.

Q5. How long will the OER Deposit Tool be available?
A. The OER Deposit Tool will be available as an interim store until JorumOpen is launched. Once launched, all materials received via the OER OER Deposit Tool will automatically be transferred under the JorumOpen licence as soon as this service is available.

A. If you are unsure which licence to choose, click on the question mark next to each licence in the webform for further information on specific licence options. Alternatively, click on the Creative Commons link which gives a general overview of the licence framework.

Q9. Do I need to download any software?
A. No, the OER Deposit Tool is browser based delivered through a Moodle front end. Where possible users should upgrade to the latest version of their browser to ensure they get maximum functionality from the OER Deposit Tool.
